Protest at Madigan’s Office

I think it's a bad idea to protest at somebody's home. Their family and neighbors should never be involved. That would be stooping to using the oppositions tactics. We are above that.

Their neighbors would probably join us.

Don't include me in us.

When government staffers are yelling F U to the President inside the capitol, how close to physical altercations do you think we are? The isolated incidents will always happen, but now it is a risk to be even seen dining at a restaurant or be seen entering your home.

I recall a group of black senators walking up steps arm in arm, supposedly in fear of being attacked by tea party protesters. Never happened, thought it was insinuated.

Now fools like Maxine Waters spout off that harrassment should be the rallying cry.

What is her address?

I may be old, but I would be glad to join a crowd to protest any number of politicians that are intent on destroying our nation. That includes every Democrat U.S. Senator and most of the Democrat U.S. Congressman in addition to Mike Madigan at the state level. But honestly, I'd prefer to do it at other than Chicago locations, unless I can attend while armed!

Anyone know where Mike Madigan lives? Maybe we could organize a protest at his home for his ruining of this statess economy?

I know where he lives in Springfield. It is a controlled access building so you would not get in. You could stand outside in a private parking lot until the Police showed up.

I agree with earlier posters. As much as you may not like him or his policies, I think we move to a much less civilized state when we take our feelings to a level as personal as that.

Agreed! - This is (at least for the time being) still America. We should all be free to disagree without being personally harassed. The media does enough of that with Trump, the NRA, and us as gun owners. There seems to be trend among some of the liberals to do that as well, and it is disgusting and disheartening. We do not need for gun owners to join that movement.

It only has by the Left. Those on the Right are still playing by the rules, limiting their disgust with the Left by writing letters to the editor and sharing our gripes on forums like this. I'm thinking it is past due for those that support the President, and support the return of traditional American values have got to take more real action to make the opponents REALLY uncomfortable, and maybe even afraid.

Afraid in what way? Afraid they are going to lose even more seats in Washington, state government, local government? Yes. They are on the losing end, they are desperate.

Afraid for their safety? We don't do that here. It's against our code of conduct.
