My Grandson who is 11 years old filed for his and it took around 45 days. His Mother signed the guardian affidavit and had it notarized and sent it in. His Mother filled out the form online. How old is your son?

This is what happens when there is no penalty on the state for not meeting the time frame in the law! This should be fixed but it won't be

Peasants just bend over and take it in the can

An unjust law is not a law...

The Law makers in IL... most should be in jail

A few years ago my FOID took about 50 days I got a Utah CCL in 45 days, my wife's FOID took about 105 days

When the same people that write the laws are those who would be punished by not obeying the law - you can be sure there is only a penalty for disobeying the law from one side.

This is the consequence of having a single party form of government without the checks and balances of a two party form of government.

(Rant off).
