  1. Doesn't sound like a false arrest, but somebody should be bending over backward to get this fixed for him.
  2. How long were ou under board review? That time isn't included in the 90 day limit.
  3. If you have a license, the answer seems to be "maybe". There are some that will tell you it is legal and other that will tell you it isn't. Until the law is refined or judges start making rulings, the answer is that no one knows for certain.
  4. Best of luck with that interpretation... And your "interpretation" of Section 65 c is what pray tell? You obviously don't understand the difference between a legal right of way and someone granting limited permission to be on private property. I gave you Illinois' definition of public right of way. I don't think you're going to get very far reciting one OED definition of "right of way" to a judge. But feel free to try...
  5. Don't know if this helps, but here's one Illinois definition of public right of way from HB1480... "Public right of way" means that portion of the highway or street adjacent to the roadway for accommodating stopped vehicles or for emergency use; or that portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines.
  6. If you've received an NRA basic pistol certificate as part of your concealed carry training, you can use it to apply for the Arizona permit which is $60 and will allow you to carry in over 30 states with no additional training. Bigdeesul, I didn't do the NRA training. Which state would be the easier/least complicated to get? Thanks You don't have to. Arizona accepts any CCL from a state that requires training as fulfilling their training requirement. And it gets you New Mexico!
  7. I believe you're right since any public park under control of the Park District is verboten.
  8. WTH? Have you contacted them about your TCN? That seemed to be a common hangup.
  9. From what we've heard, there's no way for local LEO to clear you except by not filing an objection during the mandatory 30 day review window.
  10. There's a thread or two on this already. Here's one: http://illinoiscarry.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=47141 People are getting this squared away by contacting ISP. Don't worry.
  11. Its almost that way for me - other than work I also disarm on Metra for the commute. Where?
