We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—...
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.   (2 Corinthians 4 NIV)

On 5/25/2017, Superintendent Eddie Johnson predicted a 50% reduction is Chicago violence within 3 years of SB1722 becoming law.  The bill was signed into law on 6/23/2017. The clock is now ticking.

In regards to HB1586, I wonder if she’s getting any $$$ promises out of the deal if it passes?

Mr. Harrington aka Dr, Harrington has an interesting past.  He took over the ammo coding idea after the California folks who started it more or less gave up trying to convince anyone it would work.  If you look back to our fight on this from a couple years ago you'll find some interesting information, not all of which was made public at the time.

Kudos, still, to Prairie Pucker for his work on this.

That bill won't be heard today, by the way.

Last I’ll post on this, and sickening enough, Harrington is using the Aurora incident to push “his” bill

He perpetually asks for support.  It's been going on for years whether or not he can take advantage of peoples' loss.

Maybe he'll take a moment this time to explain how ammo coding would have helped when we already know the identity of the shooter.

Don't forget to fill out slips for all of the family members in your household as well. Provided they feel the same way that you do..

the enviros have tried to push lead ammo bans as a way to shutdown all lead ammo. they start with the hunting stuff first. then they hope to get people use to it andn dloing away with all of it which then runs the cost of ammo way up costing mre tom shoot. and nothing else out there preforms like lead for expansion

So no this won't help and if you want to make hunting more expensive, you'll have less hunters
While a 9 mm or .40 caliber bullet may or may not expand, it is an undeniable fact that a .45 caliber bullet will never shrink.
