  1. I just discovered that my mother needs to renew her FOID in the next 3 months. To complicate matters, she never changed her address with ISP when she moved 7 years ago. Sigh. At 70 the only reason she has one is because there is a gun in the house. She doesn’t go out and shoot or buy ammo or anything. She may just sell the gun and be done with it. If not, what’s the proper steps? Last FOID app was paper, so she’s never made an online account with ISP yet either. Her IL DL has the correct address. The FOID doesn’t, of course. Thanks! 2. Nope. Gotta have plastic in hand. Congrats, though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Wife applied w/prints 6/18. Active 7/20. Got it in the mail today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Well, check off another 6/2 person. Wife went home at lunch and just texted me a pic of my purdy new card. Meanwhile my friend that took the same class, fingerprinted and applied the same day is still "under review". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If it's a transaction that involves running the number, then it probably won't work (gun purchase). I've never had a place run the number just to buy ammo, though. Just show them the card. They won't know the number isn't good anymore. YMMV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Checked the mail today. Nothing for me yet. Poo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Congrats to those getting them. Gives me hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. A guy from my class applied the day after we "graduated" (same as me). He's still under review, too. I honestly don't think there's a rhyme or reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I would assume so. Sounds like the bottleneck is the printing. For those that need a new-style FOID card, that's just going to double the workload of the printer and Mail staff. I already have the new FOID card, so at least I don't have to worry about that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just tried to msg you thru forum. Wouldn't let me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I just got off the phone with Brittany @ ISP. She said there was a HUGE batch approved on June 2nd. So, it may not have even printed yet. She claims they are getting caught up and to give it another couple weeks. After getting off the phone, I saw this email reply to my online inquiry: This is the day the system send it down to be printed and then mailed. Normally it take another day or so to mail. I would say give us until the end of next week, although I see you are in Springfield, so I would guess you should see something early next week. 12. 13 digits??? I thought the ccw and new FOID numbers were indeed 10 digits. Something fishy... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm going to call ISP tomorrow. Of the people that went active on 6/2, would you want to let me know what town you're in? If the 4 or 5 of us are in different towns, I doubt the mail has messed ALL of us up. If not, no biggie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
