  1. Well, you can also find that the IL CCL gives you better reciprocity than, for example, Iowa next door. Take Minnesota, they recognize IL, but not resident IA or non-resident UT and AZ. Knuckleheads. Bird76Mojo has the right attitude, at least philosophically. But. Maybe not practically. I will drive through this god forsaken state and even continue to work here, just not as a resident. Now that really sucks when it comes to CCL. IL recognizes nobody. Double knuckle heads. National reciprocity. Please.... and did someone write "permit to buy a pistol"?? WTH? I have never ever had to do that before, and in order to flee IL I'll have to step right into that?? Triple knuckleheads...
  2. Sent in all info end of March (3/30) for renewal, no fingerprints. Today 6/22 site shows that the CCL is still under review. Original expiration was 6/11/2019. 83 days so far.
  3. me too...7/3 renewal, noted this a.m. it's 'active' with issue date 7/26
  4. I wonder if they'll update my FOID card number to match my CCL number...
  5. I saw the same thing just now. I don't recall if that is new. I also was surprised I had to provide a photo, rather than ISP uploading the driver license photo like previously. Also, at the bottom of my printed receipt is this: "NOTICE: A class action lawsuit entitled Gary Sterr v. Jessica Trame, et al., Case No. 15- L - 1337, has been filed in the Third Judicial Circuit, Madison County, Illinois, which may affect your rights. Please visit www.foidcard.info for more information, where you may download a form to opt out of the class if you desire." A visit to that website only informs in a single paragraph of a lawsuit regarding the $1 credit/debit transaction fee; and some other links to pages including one that says I'm automatically "in" the class unless I opt out. Did you get it too? Sort of odd, so I'm curious.
  6. Just an FYI: application received 6 march according to ISP system received my CCW in mailbox 13 May (lucky Friday) 13 weeks + 1 day = 92 days (no prints)
  7. Sorry, just saw this. If you're still keepin' track: House 15th Timothy V Johnson Senate 55th Dale A. Righter
