They make excellent gun belts; been wearing theirs for many years. I recommend 1.50" or 1.75" wide, .25" thick, double edge-stitched, roller buckle, and .75" hole centers (distances). Be sure to follow Bullhide's sizing instructions.

I have one too and it's a well made belt. It's so tough and thick that you can probably tow a freight train with it.
It's overkill IMO, unless you're a cop and have 15 lbs of junk hanging from your belt.
For CC, something like a Kore would be better.

I have 2. One is steel core 1.75" and the other is just nice thick leather at 1.5". Both get used hard and still look great after 4 (plain) and 5 (steel core) years. Sometimes their deals on overstock or returns are really amazing. IIRC that's how I got the steel core belt.
