  1. These records do not go into our A&D books. The simply get thrown into a filing cabinet to sit completely separated from our 4473s.
  2. I had an inspection from the state a few weeks ago and he was surprised that I have done it for every transfer and purchase I've done since may. I asked when it started since I've only done it a few times for the 50 or so guns I had before getting my FFL. He said that it's supposed to have been done for every pistol transaction since 1972 but almost nobody does it but that they're getting told to start enforcing it again. The reason is that they have no legal recourse if a FFL refuses to show them 4473s because they're not legally entitled to see them but that they are entitled to see those questions. Failure to show them for failure to do them is a way or them to shut down FFLs in the state.
  3. <insertpurpletexthere> After weeks of careful thoughts and considerations of the arguments, the panel's ruling will be released this afternoon at 1PM.<insertpurpletexthere>
  4. This panel is a joke. They have already decided how they're going to rule. Hopefully SCOTUS takes this up in the next session or the following session.
  5. This reminds me of a Soldier that I had about 10 years ago. The idiot beat his wife, took off in the car and found out that parking in somebody's living room is a bad idea. He ended up crashing through a wall and the homeowners wife was pinned underneath the car. He got out of the car and tried to fight the homeowner. The homeowner pulled a gun, shot himself in the hand and then shot my Soldier. The homeowners both recovered. My idiot ended up with a dishonorable shortly after my retirement.
  6. J&M Transfers and Sales in Island Lake. Transfers are $15 for first firearm on the 4473 and $5 for any additional firearm. Doesn't matter if it's a pistol or rifle. Just contact me through the site first to get IC pricing and to set up an appointment. My business hours revolve around your schedule. 7. I'm a new FFL and tried to order some for a few out of state customers and got told to pound sand. I guess I was wrong. Talk about garbage.
  8. I was denied by the ATF for coming in under 26 inches with a C&R. YMMV.
  9. Illinois law is still 26". You won't get to 26" with a MP5k but you will get there with a full size MP5 clone.
  10. God no. I left Chicago in my rear view mirror in 2021. I guess I never updated my location.
  11. Thanks. You have to love eForms. The MP5 and HK51 were both 26 days and the AR was 27 days.
  12. I filed 3 form 1s last month and got all 3 approved. When I filled out the form 1, I attached a scan of my FOID and a scan of my C&R. Paid the $200 for each and waited for approval. It's not hard at all.
