I just signed a petition for not raisng the taxes on traders...which will effect all of us....but I thought what a great site for us to use...and you can for a fee have they write the leter and hand deliver it to your congressman....costly but a cool idea none the less. maybe we can set out bills and petitions up online and have people do that to flood their inboxes...or will it be spammed out?

I'm a little more concerned with this one at the moment
Illinois income tax rate may rise by 50%

SPRINGFIELD — Gov. Pat Quinn is considering raising the Illinois income tax by 50 percent in a politically risky bid to address one of the biggest budget dilemmas in state history, sources said Thursday.

An increase to 4.5 percent from the current 3 percent tax rate on individuals would include a corresponding hike in the corporate income tax on businesses, according to sources familiar with the new governor's preparations for his first budget address Wednesday.
