  1. ewww, how did I miss posting that?! Must be subconscious effort to repress the memory. There was another on the same night . . . ?? According to Homewood's website, it is not a "home rule" community... Won't that ban be invalid?? Homewood is not home rule and who knows whether it will be invalid. They passed it anyway.
  2. I don't see Homewood's ban listed. http://www.village.homewood.il.us/vertical/sites/%7BF33312FB-DC9D-428D-87AE-BD0DE0D5C262%7D/uploads/MC-893.Chapter_70.Assault_Weapons_Ban.pdf
  3. Yeah, I thought about that as well. There were a couple of other neat ones in the mix as well, such as SB1586 Biss - Freedom-Tracking Device and SB1587 Biss - Drone Surveillance.
  4. SB1533 Rose - Firearms-Municipal Regulation SB1536 Rose - Firearms Owners- Preempt Local Government SB1616 Silverstein - Crim CD - No Online Ammo SB1643 Raoul - Criminal Law Tech SB1644 Raoul - Criminal Law Tech Oops, I got carried away and slipped into the 1600's
  5. Sure it makes sense, but I will be training a watchful eye on this bill just the same.
  6. Strictly based on his campaign platform. Let's just say that I am leery of this one.
  7. HB1513 Firearms municipal regulation. Bost SB1489 Amends FOID Act. Harris SB1502 Amends Criminal Code of 2012. Jones SB1512 Amends Criminal Code of 2012. Jones
  8. Shell bill. SB 1445 FOID act. http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/BillStatus.asp?DocNum=1445&GAID=12&DocTypeID=SB&LegId=72072&SessionID=85&GA=98
  9. You would still be caught up with breaking the Chicago law, as the gun that you left upstairs would be operational as would the one that you made operational in the time of need. A simply ridiculous requirement. Techically, but I doubt you'd see any charges brought. I wonder if Hale DeMar law would kick in... Agreed, but that is just another reason why the requirement is ridiculous. Another unnecessary law on the books.
