I recently received an email that said the following: Your current Carry Guard policy is being non-renewed. Chubb, the carrier for Carry Guard insurance will no longer be writing policies for this program. Below is a cancellation endorsement for your policy. Anyone else get something similar? There are few out there that only help you in civil court after you beat the criminal charges. In IL it is against the law to sue someone for defending life or even property if they are not found criminally liable. You could argue that there is still federal court but it misses the point that you may need to dump a ton of your own money to beat the criminal side to avoid civil problems later.
