  1. I am quoting this right? Freedom is when the government is afraid of the people. When the people are afraid of the government, that is tyranny.
  2. Knock knock!! "Who is it?" "The government." "What do you want?" " Your guns." "Why" "To protect you from mass shooters and us."
  3. The switch blade law does not nullify local Illinois local ordinances unless I missed a judge ruling differently which would be great. I believe every woman should have some form if metal knuckles on there person. An existing law making this unlawful is immoral to its core. Far too many female victims show the uuw statute to be extremely cruel.
  4. The manager has to post the standardized sign in an easy to see location on entrance to rear property.
  5. For those in the public eye it is said that the only bad press is no press. The marxist media would like to be quiet about Trump but their people cannot stop bragging about their attacks on him. Keep those unjust, unfair attacks coming. More and more people are seeing what the democrat party has become.
  6. Reading the posts above I think there is confusion. As I interpret the Foid Modernization Act there is an issue to understand; finger prints. No finger prints on file: Foid only holders keep their existing expiration date being good for 10 years. For CLL holders if their current foid expires before their current CCL the foid expiration will automatically be extended out to the CCl's expiration date. From then on the CCl will be renewed by that date every five years, foid every ten years. If a current CCL's foid has been renewed prior to this Foid Modernization Act it's ten years expiration will still show it's future expiration date for the late 202? or early 203?s. At this expiration date it should automatically extend out to the future CCL expiration date. At that point the two cards (combo) month and day will line up and stay lined up for the future. CCL still good for five years. Foid good for ten years. All buying a gun does is get the state to update your ISP declaration page info while they are logged on with this one time auto extension so as to line up the two cards (combo) with the same month and day. To update everyone's deck page would be labor intensive. Now for those with finger prints on file due to the Foid Modernization Act or the FCCA. Your Foid is life time. No more charge. Still fee for CCL renewal. Don't worry what your deck page has for a foid expiration date. This is how I read all this.
  7. If these prosecutors where not political, they could after many organizations. Though I did not like the NRA high end expenses they did have I IRS keeping close tabs on them. This confuses me on how New York got a conviction on corruption when these expenses past IRS scrutiny. These expenses are not uncommon.
  8. I do not understand ignoring that the salesman's life was threaten by the violent act of the robber. A victim does not have to wait until he is hurt to defend himself. A person walking up to me slamming his fist down on a desk or glass case is a violent threatening act no different than pointing a knife or gun at me. I am a moron not to fear for my life and defend it.
  9. How is this guy not committing robbery? He is violent. Under the UUW defense of dwelling only "felony" is stated not "forcible felony". Though a business is not a dwelling the employees could be said were at that time dwelling there. Violence should be a tipping point. Does the law really side with (protect) an invited quest (where ever) once he becomes violent?
  10. As a layman I don't really care if you call him a robber, a burglar or a thief. Once he shattered a display case he entered in a violent, riotous, tumultuous manner. I will react accordingly.
  11. The opinion from: https://www.andrewnickel.com/blog/2021/october/illinois-knife-laws/ "Other legal knives in Illinois include pocket/folding knives, bowie knives, dirks/daggers, swords, machetes, and disguised knives such as belt knives, cane knives, and lipstick knives."
  12. Where did I miss that the ISP has said the ecard is no longer valid once lost card is reported?
  13. I had to search the web finally finding it mentioned then digging deeper. "Self help" Laws limit it. Wisdom does too.
