I just went QC verified today (109 days today w/o prints).  At first I thought the inspect element box on the right was the one to go by, so I thought mine was approved status for a long time.  So I'm hoping it's a good sign to see some activity now.  Man I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve morning.

I'm an old guy, and that's exactly how I felt the end of March last year. Back then, mine took 97 days w/o prints to have it in hand. When you finally get it in the mail, you will find yourself staring at it for the first two weeks like it was an Oscar you just won...lol.

No we didn't do prints, all I know is my wife was at submitted. I sent an email from her account. And one and a half hours later she was at QC verified. We'll see how it goes.

The only thing that can save this state is term limits.

so i've been sitting at approved since 2/8. today is day 65 so technically i went approved under the 30 days. anyone else been sitting at approved this long? i feel like i got approved early then shoved to the back of the pile. or i'm impatient. either way, just curious if anyone else has been sitting at approved for a long time.

Have you tried emailing to see if anything else is needed? Seems like some have had some movement after doing this, mine is qc_verified so you're a step a head of me. Good luck!

I hate to add to the "email trick" conspiracy but there just might be something to it.

Submitted both FOID address change and CCL - 2/2/17 w/prints

Noticed wrong county on address(my town straddles two counties) changed county 2/3/17

Both the FOID and CCL section were sitting at submitted with the inspect trick since 2/3/17. So last night at 11pm I decided to email ISP with my application info and to make sure the county change went through. I got a reply this morning at 9:30am confirming the address change and CCL request and told the CCL would be complete 90 days from 2/2/17. I then log into the site and notice the FOID section is now approved.

I just checked again and as of 2:45pm the FOID card with updated address is now active. So in summary I applied for a FOID address change and CCL on 2/2/17. Corrected a wrong county on 2/3 and both items were sitting at submitted for 48 days. I send an email and less than 24 hours later my FOID is now active.

reading through this thread. It's stated once you fill out the application and pay your fee/fees.
The first thing they do before submitting your application is do your back round check. Once that's complete then your 30 days begin.
This begs the question, why do they wait so long after the 30 day objection period to finish and mail your permission slip.

This is the only question, that should be, being asked. In today's world, all you need to do is type a name in and within a few moments, you have a persons information. I've read in an earlier post, it was believed the ISP checks 7 different databases for information, even if this is correct, it should not take more than a couple of weeks. Especially if you have already been issued a FOID card and purchased a firearm. I wonder how fast permits would be issued if you didn't pay your fee, until you were approved to receive the permit.

I just purchased a pistol. Saturday, my wife brought me to the store and said which one do you want for your birthday.
Did I mention I really love my wife. I picked it up yesterday. The back round check took three days, that's the first time I had to wait more than five minutes.

Only problem now is finding a new hobby since for the past year all I ever did was stalk the ISP website lol. Hope and pray everyone else gets their justice but one thing for sure, if I did it, you can!!
