Meaning we could file "pro" for something on one day, only to have the bill gutted and replaced with something we oppose, but those original slips are still good, so it looks like we are in favor of it? In the past we've always had to file slips for or against an amendment. I would hope that's still a thing, but I wouldn't put it past either party to try some shenanigans to get around it. That's a different, much larger list. We special people who actually submit opposition slips, now that's a juicy target for the state. The General Assembly Opposition LEarning and Reeducation (GAOLER) Act will take care of us.

Until the state uses the witness slip lists to put the opponents on their own list... God, I hope that stays purple.
