  1. The Track and Recover All Surveilled Human (TRASH) Waste Act will close that loophole by requiring HD cameras be installed on all dumpsters and waste removal vehicles.
  2. Substantive bills means "notnot shell bills that were passed by the dozens to get around committees and deadlines", right?
  3. You are correct. 10 am on 4/4. HB1305 is on the list. https://www.ilga.gov/house/committees/hearing.asp?CommitteeID=2931&GA=103
  4. I assume that means committee did not discuss HB1305?
  5. The biggest scandal: There's a boatload of smart people trying to disarm us and we seem powerless to stop it.
  6. Any Democrat temper tantrum thrown in response, or are they saving it for some middle-of-the-night bill passage?
  7. Now I want a firearm made of niobium solely for its melting point... 4473° F.
  8. Clueless, or willfully spreading misinformation for their own personal or judicial gains?
  9. I guess our fine leaders take that whole "beware the Ides of March" thing seriously.
  10. Meaning we could file "pro" for something on one day, only to have the bill gutted and replaced with something we oppose, but those original slips are still good, so it looks like we are in favor of it? In the past we've always had to file slips for or against an amendment. I would hope that's still a thing, but I wouldn't put it past either party to try some shenanigans to get around it. No, which is why I asked about it. "We have to pass it to find out what's in it."
  11. Is there a reason why we wouldn't want to file a slip in support of something like HB4327, even if it has zero chance of passing? We file a lot of opposition slips and they will pass some of those things anyway. https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/BillStatus.asp?DocTypeID=HB&DocNum=4327&GAID=17&SessionID=112&LegID=151213
  12. That's a different, much larger list. We special people who actually submit opposition slips, now that's a juicy target for the state. The General Assembly Opposition LEarning and Reeducation (GAOLER) Act will take care of us.
  13. Until the state uses the witness slip lists to put the opponents on their own list... God, I hope that stays purple.
  14. The links in the original post still point to the previous cancelled meeting. I assume we're still supposed to hit these for the currently scheduled meeting. I'm going to, anyway.
