Illinois Retired Officer Concealed Carry

Qualifications must be done yearly by retired Illinois officers . The state has of course suspended all qualifications because of the Coronavirus and advised all permit holders trying to renew there will be no extensions as this permit comes about as a federal mandate . How convenient the state can then allow retired officers concealed carry permits to expire and gain shredding of the second amendment to retired first responders .

The following was posted on IROCC's webpage today. I was also able to go ahead and schedule a shoot via the online scheduling system.

"IROCC will resume qualification shoots late next week. Scheduling for IROCC shoots is now active.

An updated list of range locations, qualification shoot dates and new guidelines

has been mailed on May 1st to everyone who eligible to get scheduled.
