  1. 430 ILCS 65 (c) If the Firearm Owner's Identification Card of a licensee under the Firearm Concealed Carry Act expires during the term of the licensee's concealed carry license, the Firearm Owner's Identification Card and the license remain valid and the licensee does not have to renew his or her Firearm Owner's Identification Card during the duration of the concealed carry license. Unless the Illinois State Police has reason to believe the licensee is no longer eligible for the card, the Illinois State Police may automatically renew the licensee's Firearm Owner's Identification Card and send a renewed Firearm Owner's Identification Card to the licensee.
  2. Correct, and to add one thing. If you are able to pull up the E card from your phone off the ISP website in your account then you do not have to carry the hard card with you.
  3. SAF and FPC are seeking cert with SCOTUS in this case. Not getting my hopes up but keeping my fingers crossed. 👍
  4. Julie Morrison at it again. Should we be watching this Mauserme. https://youtu.be/5dG8dC4nez8?si=A85C6u1lSm5NZ0Xl
  5. As far as I can see he did nothing unlawful. Justifiable use of force statute allows him to protect his property which he did. The criminal was not harmed and successfully taken into custody. People believe he's wrong for going back out to confront the criminal and that is an opinion they have a right to. Others may believe he's justified in his actions and I agree with that.
  6. The training certificates do not expire. I have never seen a certificate that says it expires in 5 years.
