The media is incorrect on this and the weapon used in FL terrorist attack was semi-auto. He says, "the other side claims to support 2nd amendment rights". He has every reason to believe otherwise. He believes in due process. Those on watchlist, are not convicted of a crime. And majority of those are not citizens, so they cannot purchase a firearm anyways. If gun control works in one state, they'll claim they were right and it's working. But if gun control doesn't work in their state, they'll blame another. Those on the selectee list, have close creditable evidence that they are a terrorist. Roughly 1700 Americans. Terrorist watchlist, 5000 Americans, when there is evidence that they are a terrorist. Do we want them to own these weapons (scary rifle pictures). He admits, nothing would of caught Mateen. This new bill would of caught him, as it would of extended the time to monitor those on list.
