So you get sent to prison and the other inmates who are in for murder, armed robbery with injury and other felonies that get them long sentences and ask what you are in for. And you say I was in possession of an illegal gun part that was previously legal. You better take showers by yourself.

What's worse is that you are in longer than them.

To the libs owning a gun is worse then most crimes.

Life sentence, eh? Does this mean we're going to start handing out life sentences to rapists and pedophiles, too? If possessing a gun modification part merits a life sentence (effectively a death sentence), then surely we're going to have a zero tolerance policy for real crimes, right?

In the immortal words of Donald Trump: "Got to do something about these missing children grabbed by the perverts. Too many incidents -- fast trial, death penalty"

But first let's go for the law-abiding gun owners. Priorities.

yeah its actually pretty sad when you would get LESS time in prison for making your own illegal machine gun vs a piece of plastic stock :ermm:

Well, these are the same people that keep insisting suppressors actually silence firearms, and fully-automatic weapons can be bought at any cornerstore without a background check. Oh, and the 2nd Amendment was only meant to apply to muskets and tomahawks.

And chainsaw bayonets. Can't forget the chainsaw bayonets.

*sigh*

No, to the leftists, the worst crime in the universe is disagreeing with them. They consider that worse than nuclear war and genocide.

Not purple.

Cause it automatically makes you a *phobe, and *ist Where the * is a true wildcard, cause to them you are every kind of ist and every kind of phobe if you disagree.

Kathleen Willis actually said that when she met with us at Seven Dwarfs restaurant.

I f'ing hate this one the most, of all their inane 'arguments'. No Ms Willis, you ignorant ****. It means able to form a viable fighting force against both foreign AND domestic enemies, from governments to terrorists, down to bad guys. And sorry, but EVEN if you take the strictest definition that it is only for forming a militia (which is wrong), then it would be a militia with weapons of war for the day. Muskets, in the late 1700s were state of the art war implements. TODAY, their equivalent would actually be an automatic capable carbine.

Yep. It's all about culture wars. These laws are not meant to deter crime, but merely to silence and burden the opposition (e.g. legal gun owners)

I can't wait for the first person to receive a harsh sentence for a bump stock. The ensuing lawsuit, pleading Eighth Amendment cruel & unusual punishment. Disproportionate to the crime. What's worse, a bump stock or rape? Apparently it's a bump stock. They're never gonna prosecute to the fullest extent because they know they're exposed to having the living crap sued out of them and the sentence overturned, having to dole out money to someone and a lawyer.

A life sentence would be a resonable penalty for committing multiple murders and/or multiple attempted murders with a bump stock.
A life sentence would be appropriate in those circumstances even if the offender doesn't use a bump stock. That's what these idiots miss. Violence is violence. Stop tiptoeing through the tulips with these scumbags. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
