Penumbra1811 Posted January 1, 2018 at 04:50 AM Share Posted January 1, 2018 at 04:50 AM Does the ISP have a time limit on FOID appeals? I sent my paperwork in last week and I know it doesn't happen that fast. Just kind of curious how long I should give them before I start making calls to them. Thanks. Molly B. Posted January 1, 2018 at 06:21 PM Share Posted January 1, 2018 at 06:21 PM No, they do not. We are seeing appeals take anywhere from 6 mos. to a year. This is a problem we are working on.

Is that for the initial FOID or repealed one? I'd like to get my daughters back but now I realize (or think) the paperwork I got from the court has to be notarized there and I just haven't gotten it because I suspect it's a huge PITA. Misdemeanor pot, kids...
