C0untZer0 Posted January 27, 2019 at 06:23 PM Share Posted January 27, 2019 at 06:23 PM I've wondered about the Trib and Sun-Times reporting concerning carjackings. There are several instances where the Trib and the Sun-Times just don't report carjackings. I'm not sure what the reasoning is. Any carjacking that occurs in DuPage County gets reported by the Daily Herald - each and every one. Granted there are not a lot of carjackings that happen in DuPage County, but the Trib and Sun-Times' under-reporting of carjackings in Cook County makes the problem seem less serious than it is. Its the same thing with accurate reporting of CPD staffing levels - the Tribune and Sun-Times and other Chicago media go along with whatever bull**** Rahm Emanual tells them and they do zero investigative reporting. CWB digs into the numbers and proves that the number of officers on the street has actually gone down, not up. Instead of the Trib and Sun-Times telling the public about how many new police officers have been added, they should be calling out Rahm for the liar he is and telling the public about how fewer police officers there are. And its true of the CTA crime reporting. The Trib and Sun-Times may pick up a few stories now and again, but they ignore the violence that occurs on a daily basis on the CTA. If you look at the Chicago Data Portal, there is a violent crime that happens somewhere on the CTA, every single day. https://data.cityofchicago.org/Public-Safety/Crimes-2001-to-present/ijzp-q8t2 If it happens in Wrigleyville or Boystown, CWB definitely investigates and writes a report. Mr. Fife Posted January 27, 2019 at 10:37 PM Share Posted January 27, 2019 at 10:37 PM CWB now reports on crime beyond Wrigleyville and Boystown. Most people have heard of the Libune and Scum Times, but are unaware of CWB. Because of social media, CWB could become a very popular on reporting crime to people outside of Chicago. Unfortunately they have a political bias, or at least the person who handles their tweets does. Too bad, because I would be retweeting all of their posts, but I don't want to draw national attention to a SJW site. For local news, I can ignore the bias. . Stupid speelchick. . Bubbacs Posted April 7, 2019 at 02:47 PM Share Posted April 7, 2019 at 02:47 PM Not gonna down play the situations here, but it’s been 10 plus days now, think these guys might have changed clothes since then? And clearly (in my humble opinion) this could get reduced by at least 50% or more if the signs posted everywhere CTA/Sub Stations etc were taken down! A constantly moving along, get on here get off there mode of transportation with absolutely NO available protective services in place. These guys just wait in place and hand pick their victims each day/night. Then jump off somewhere else and slowly stroll back home only to pimp off these cell phones and goodies for cash. And they say that WE are the stupid ones for actually having a job where we must go to and earn said cash each day! On average, images pulled from CTA’s cameras have aided police in arresting roughly 200 persons each year.

C0untZer0 Posted May 11, 2019 at 04:07 PM Share Posted May 11, 2019 at 04:07 PM "Public" Transportation is another way of saying Social Transportation. Its just another way for politicians and public unions to fleece the tax payer. The amount of money that is paid out to "workers" very quickly outpaces the utility that the transportation service provides and surpasses the amount of actual revenue that the service can generate. So money is diverted from other government revenue sources to pay the salaries of the transportation union employees who keep voting their political bosses back into office as long as their bosses continue to steal money from tax payers to keep public transportation up an running, in other words, keep the transportation union members employed. If anyone objects to having their money taken away from them and given to other people they're attacked for hating poor people and they're called racist.
