Eric D. Posted December 28, 2019 at 05:29 AM Share Posted December 28, 2019 at 05:29 AM I see this style of grip in the papers all the time. This was the gun a guy from Michigan tried to sneak into Cook County Jail. So, where do I get these? They must be great because all the inner city combatants have them. I want a set. I went to the Crimson Trace web site hoping to get a green laser sight version for a full sized Kimber 1911, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Colt guy Posted December 28, 2019 at 05:58 AM Share Posted December 28, 2019 at 05:58 AM I have a set . They are very rare. More scarce than ivory. I will sell them to you for 600. But you have to wrap them yourself
Lou Posted December 28, 2019 at 01:22 PM Share Posted December 28, 2019 at 01:22 PM I’m kinda liking the high profile front sight myself. I wonder if it’s got a glow in the dark insert.

Euler Posted December 28, 2019 at 08:47 PM Share Posted December 28, 2019 at 08:47 PM I've seen bicycle inner tubes used as grip sleeves before. I'm not a fan of grip sleeves, even legit ones, but rubber bands or (as the picture in the OP looks to me) solder wound around the frame seems needlessly labor intensive. Solder looks practically art deco compared to rubber bands, though. You know (or should know) you have a drug problem when you sell your $10 factory grips to get your next fix. tkroenlein Posted December 29, 2019 at 02:50 AM Share Posted December 29, 2019 at 02:50 AM It's a urban survival revolver. Instead of paracord and a fire starter, it has speaker wire.
carry Posted December 29, 2019 at 03:44 PM Share Posted December 29, 2019 at 03:44 PM Hook it up to a battery, it gets magnetized and jumps rights out of your hand. Too much soldering without a fan/hood and you get lead poisoning, the inhaled kind, not the hole punch kind.
