Special County Board Meeting - Williamson County.

Due to the uproar over conflicting public statements by county commissioners over the gun sanctuary resolution vs referendum, and last month's refusal by two members to bring the ballot referendum to a vote, a special session of the county board is scheduled for Friday, August 17th, 2018, at 9:00am to consider and discuss the matter. Public speakers will be allowed, with FIVE minutes set aside for each person.

 

Please consider showing up in support, even if you do not wish to make a public comment. As always, polite decorum, appropriate attire, and respectful commentary go a long way toward furthering our cause.

Freedom speech is all good, but if someone can't make their point in 3 minutes, they can't make it in 5 minutes either.

Jackson County only allowed about a minute and a half each. Of course, there were about two HUNDRED of us there, sooo...you know.

This is my home county. I work part time and never know what days I will be working until the Friday before but if I am not working I will definitely be there. There needs to be literally hundreds there on our side!

Make the point that they all took an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States, therefore not enforcing unconstitutional state law maintains their oath.
