Purchased the Auto 6 with the drop point,black blade.Bought it yesterday afternoon,had it in my hand around 2:00 p.m. today.Less than 24 hrs. with free shipping.Wow.

 

As with other reviews I've read about Gerber knives it seems rock solid.After a couple drops oil,it opens very fast.When open the blade has no play at all.The grip Ican get on this knife really impresses me.When gripped with the thumb over top(sabre grip?),the design of the finger grips along with the thumb guard on top really gives a positive grip.

I plan on using this as an everyday knife at work and whatnot to replace my old Buck,seems like it will hold up well.

Wow that’s good to hear. I ordered one as well. I’m a knife junky and have thousands of dollars in high end knives. I just have always liked knives. Almost all of mine are US made, including custom makers. Never had a switch blade and it looked to be a good price and supporting a supporting member is good. Glad it shipped that fast. Looking forward to getting mine. Currently EDC a ZT452cf, but this will probably make its way into the rotation.

As of April 1st Gerber and Buck will have to sell for a Minimum price set by them.

I can tell you all the Gerber prices will be going up and I cant sell below the the minimum price they set.

Well I can but they will yank the Dealership, and I am a huge Gerber fan and have been for years.

 

On the plus side It will give people less incentive to lie on the out of state dealer auto exemption forms.
