oohrah Posted December 13, 2019 at 04:08 PM Share Posted December 13, 2019 at 04:08 PM Took my daughter and grand daughter to an indoor range last year that had rentals, and we tried the 380 EZ. They really liked it. A lady friend has just ordered the 9mm EZ. I will be curious how they have kept a weaker spring with the larger slide. Gator4838 Posted December 13, 2019 at 05:10 PM Share Posted December 13, 2019 at 05:10 PM I'm a big s\w m&p fan.I have to compare the 9mm EZ with the m&p shield 3.1 9mm.same capacity.the shield is more compact and weighs less.the EZ has a better trigger?,rail, indicator chamber window, ambi controls, and possibly a better grip texture.both with or w\o safety with I believe the same 3 white dot sights for $100-150 more.as I say,I'm a big fan, just thinking out loud. InterestedBystander Posted December 13, 2019 at 05:19 PM Author Share Posted December 13, 2019 at 05:19 PM The EZ is not striker fired but internal hammer fired i.e. SA
soundguy Posted December 13, 2019 at 10:22 PM Share Posted December 13, 2019 at 10:22 PM The EZ is not striker fired but internal hammer fired i.e. SA I get confused sometimes but isn't that DAO? Reminds me of the Kel-Tec P-11 but heavier, larger, holds fewer rounds, grip safety and has a better trigger.I've been playing with my old P-11 this past week... got the trigger pull down to 5#s, so far. InterestedBystander Posted December 14, 2019 at 03:25 AM Author Share Posted December 14, 2019 at 03:25 AM DAO the trigger is going to **** and fire. This, racking the slide cocks it, pulling the trigger fires it, with the slide recocking after firing. I think the older .22s like the 422/622 had this design. Gotcha.Interesting! No double strike. Not like a shrouded hammer revolver. Thanks...
