Gun reformers search for the next bump stock

BY MIKE LILLIS - 11/15/17 06:46 AM EST

On Wednesday, the ... group founded by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) will release a report detailing nine products all commercially available under current federal law the advocates say are designed specifically to circumvent long-established gun checks and therefore pose a threat to public safety.

The products singled out by the group are a combination of obscure accessories and military-style firearms that, like bump stocks, are hardly household names. They include binary triggers, which modify firearms so one round is fired with the pull of the trigger, and another upon the triggers release; trigger cranks, which allow shooters to fire more rapidly with the turn of a handle; and incendiary rounds, which ignite when they hit a target.

The list also features modern AR- and AK-style pistols, ... and .50-caliber rifles, ...

Pay attention to how they show .50 BMG in item 7, followed by:

Cue the .50 caliber muzzleloader, which delivers a particularly lethal .50 caliber round. This weapon is designed with a built-in device to suppress its sound. If any other firearm were built with such a device, it would be subject to the NFA as a silencer. But since this device is designed to suppress the sound of something that is exempt from federal firearms laws, it is not considered a silencer and not subject to the NFA. In fact, it is not subject to any laws at all and can be bought online.

The report is attached. and is also available at the link in the first quote.

Just trying to keep chipping away..

I've said before, I'd have more respect for them if they were completely honest and admitted they just want all guns banned.

This...I'm so freaking sick of them saying "this ban bla, bla, bla, while protecting your second amendment rights" or using garbage terms like "common sense gun laws"...

Just come out and say it...you despise firearms, you despise us owning them, you want them banned in any way you can grease through the system.

Unpossible. We've been reasonable. We've kept our defensive guns hidden. We've criticized devices that make guns shoot too fast. We get our background checks. We pay for our privileges. We displayed all the attributes of common sense. There's no way now the antis could move on anything so innocuous as a purpose built single shot hunting implement. I can't believe it.

Watch them do it. In court they'll argue that these aren't a core right under the 2A because the 2A isn't about hunting. Then later, in other cases, they'll claim "assault weapons" can be banned because the 2A is about protecting hunting rifles.

I must have a defective one. Mine is loud as heck.

WHAT built-in device?

Which was originally claimed legal in all 50 states but no longer. Sales have been stopped in IL and a few others.

They can't get any support if they tell the truth. So they continue to lie and chip away at our rights a little at a time.

They want us to the point where, if you've even had contact with police, you're barred from owning a gun. Then to get to the point that if you have ever been accused of anything, falsely or not, then you're barred for life. ATF handing out waivers for well-connected people.

And with all of these brainwashed idiots being pumped out by diploma mills errr prestigious universities (like Stanford, where a guy wrote "black lives matter" 100 times in his application essay and got in), we'll have some seriously messed up in the head judges and lawyers who will call barring speeders from owning a gun a "reasonable" restriction. Proof positive that our institutions of higher education (and every other institution) have been infiltrated by commies, just like they promised they would.

And, of course, these "educated" boobs think this "silenced" muzzleloader has the report of a mouse fart.
