bmyers Posted March 21, 2017 at 05:34 PM Share Posted March 21, 2017 at 05:34 PM So does that mean the tax bill is done with? Doesn't being tabled take a majority vote to suspend consideration any further?
mauserme Posted March 21, 2017 at 05:50 PM Author Share Posted March 21, 2017 at 05:50 PM So does that mean the tax bill is done with? Doesn't being tabled take a majority vote to suspend consideration any further?Pretty much done with, but we never stop watching. It was done by voice vote so, theoretically 60. If the Rules Committee recommends that it be taken from the table, that would take a majority vote. Otherwise it's subject to a 71 vote threshold.
