mauserme Posted March 14, 2017 at 01:03 AM Author Share Posted March 14, 2017 at 01:03 AM . Last week in the Senate, two amendments were approved on SB1722 Safe Neighborhoods Reform Tech (Mandatory Minimum Gun Sentencing) as listed below. At third reading, the bill could see a final action vote in the Senate at any time. IllinoisCarry opposes this bill as introduced and as amendment. Of interest this week, HB1810 Use/Occ Tax - Firearms is not scheduled to be heard in the Restorative Justice Committee at this time. A motion to table this bill remians pending floor action. Perhaps we'll be able to soon remove it from our daily list. Conversely, SB1524 Concealed Carry Military Fee, a bill we support and ask our members to support, is scheduled to potentially be heard in committee today, 3/14/2017. Please file a witness slip as a proponent of this bill if you haven't already. The House and Senate are scheduled for 12:00 Noon.
