Anyone have one do you like it do you carry it

Carried one as a duty weapon for several yrs.

 

I shot it well. I liked it a lot.

 

I don't carry it anymore because the RA in my joints hated the weight.

I have a 21 and a 41. The 41 is much easier to CC because the slide is thinner.

Weight wise you are probably good.

 

Finding a good holster and belt to accommodate the width and length might be an issue.

You might also want to look at the Glock 30. It holds 10 rounds of .45 ACP, is a bit smaller, and may even remain legal, depending on what happens in this insane state.

You might also want to look at the Glock 30. It holds 10 rounds of .45 ACP, is a bit smaller, and may even remain legal, depending on what happens in this insane state.

Sorry I should have put that in my first post I carry a 1911 now looking to up my capacity is why I'm looking at a 21 or maybe a 41 now

Glock 30s is 10+ cap. The thinner slide is also helpful for CCW.

My 1911 that I carry is in 9mm it holds 10 rounds And so far I have shot well over a thousand rounds with no issues at all

$ You don't need the same capacity because the G30 uses bigger boolitts. $

I may just stick with the 1911 When i look at the cost of a new pistol +more magazines + the cost of new holster and mag carrier I'm going to give this some more thought

Every day, and I carry OWB. I ALSO CARRY 2 spare mags on the opposite side. I donât notice the weight that much when the pull on the belt right and left is somewhat equal.

If you're already shooting and carrying 9mm then why not try a G19? It's a "goldilocks" sized pistol for many.
