I'm in the boat with alot of you guys. Have a felony from about 12 years ago. Got my foid denied in 2015. Sent appeal in 2015. Spoke to a guy in 2017 who said my appeal looks pretty cut and dry amd should be approved no problem, but theres mo time frame on when someone will look at it, yet here it is 5 years later and still nothing. Only response I get is still available under review. I mean, I have emailed, called, left messages by the dozens, no response. Not sure where to even go from here. Do I need to talk to lawyer, or just sit on my hands? Thanks for the site and advice, it helps for someone like me that isnt too knowledgeable in this area
