The nation is divided.

Washington is divided.

Illinois gun owners must not be divided.

Whether you like the results of the election, dislike the results or are somewhere in between, if you're a gun owner in Illinois this is the time to find each other again - to find each other in the common casue of protecting and preserving our rights.

If you're already here, stay where you are. We still need The legislature will be back in less than a week.

If you're not part of us, join. We need you too, perhaps now more than ever.

We've been through hard times in the past. This is nothing new. Let's re-ignite the flames of passion we once knew so well, and get things done.

We’re up against the proverbial wall. I know several retired teachers who have CCLs but voted Democrat because of the pension issue in Illinois. My union offers CCL classes and pushed the straight D ticket. The power of urban areas across the country will keep us in battle mode forever. What’s the next legislative step in Illinois?

DuPage County at one time was one of the most the most Republican Counties in the US. No longer

They Democrats moved out of Crook to escape the crime and corruption and brought the corruption with them.

Three local Republican politicians cast their lot with Madigan and cast anti-gun votes this last session. Two of them even took campaign donations from the Moms and bragged about it.

Nybo and Olson both lost. Curran kept his seat even though his D opponent is the niece of Cullerton

I guess the antis gave Nybo and Olson their money but not their votes.

Im stuck here for a minimum of another year; maybe two but long term I won't live in a ban state. If an AWB or mag ban is passed I can't put down roots in a ban state is the bottom line.

Until then im going to call me legislators even more, e mail more and be more involved than ever before

I can remember when you couldn't find a Democrat in DuPage....

The town is starting to really bleed and over 10% of my income is for real-estate taxes, you can guess my opinion on that.

Build casino's with pot and hash dens, but if you think your touching anything in my safes, there will be a problem.

What would Ben Franklin say about that?

I'm not gambling on winning any of the short game battles in Illinois, as I only see that going anti-gun and likely faster than it has in a long time... But with a Republican president, Republican Senate and Conservative Supreme Court, my hopes are that the long game battle is won in the courts and Illinois politicians arrogance creates pro-gun precedence across the nation...

Our little town just added 50 low income housing units to be opened in 2019.

Hmm wonder how much that will dilute the vote in a red leaning city of 3000 in 2020 after they are filled.

Lost all my stuff in a boating accident and have a boat in my barn to prove it lol

Still will fight these anti freedom bills in any way legally possible.

That's what turncoats get. They took campaign donations from Bloomberg, the moms get paid by Bloomberg to do his bidding.

You know something? Im looking forward to the ground fight. Ive gathered enough evidence via research and FOIAs to really hammer people at town halls. The Moms and their beta male husbands would be a blast to confront in a public setting. I have some great ideas how to showcase their hypocrisy and fake agenda (safety)

The Moms gave them money to buy their votes in the legislature. If their votes hadn't been for sale, they wouldn't have gotten any money. The Moms still have anti-gun votes in those seats in the next legislature, so they won either way.

Dear Lord, we're gonna be busy and YUGELY disappointed when all is said and done. Oh, and it's going to cost us more financially too. LOL, so we got that going for us.

While I am lucky enough to fall under the law enforcement exemption that's been in nearly all the scary gun of color bans that have been proposed, my Rights should not be greater off duty than those citizens without badges in their wallets.

There's talk of them offering buyouts for senior personnel at my agency. Kansas, where my FIL lives taxes pensions but it's looking better and better each day.

Here's how Bloomberg's Everytown say they did it, got an email from them.

Wow, we did it. We had 1.2 million conversations with voters at the doors and on the phones and together, we elected gun sense majorities in the U.S. House of Representatives, key governorships, and statehouses!

When we said that we would throw out leaders who were bought by the NRA, it wasn't an empty threat — it was a promise. We made a promise that if our leaders didn't enact stronger gun laws, we would throw them out. And that's just what we did: in red, blue, and purple states across the country, Gun Sense Candidates turned into a Gun Sense Majority. Your countless hours spent canvassing and knocking on doors, talking to your neighbors, and phone banking potential voters have resulted in a surge of leaders who are committed to fighting for gun safety, winning their races at every level of government.

Thank you for all of your hard work. Watch our video, and see just how impactful YOU were in the midterm elections.

[VIDEO] We elected a Gun Sense Majority and these victories are because of you

Thank you for helping to elect a Gun Sense Majority.
