To translate: As long as the brace is not modified to make it an ideal shoulder stock, the ATF no longer cares if the brace ends up being shouldered. This so far has been sent only to SB Tactical, but I'm sure other brand names will jump in on this and get similar affirmations. This decision may just nullify the need for SBR paperwork for many buyers, as side-by-side the only difference between an SBR and a braced AR pistol is going to be the velcro strap on the side...Minus the waiting period and $200 stamp.

Should...I delete this thread? I feel like people are rushing to take pictures of a car crash. Subtle forum rule being breached?

EDIT: Checked for duplicate threads, this just broke at 10 last night. No signs of other mentions. This is not a rehash from months back, this is a completely new report with new result.

The other thread discussing this very topic was the most recently created thread at the time you created this one. So the other thread would have been right at the top of the "Recent threads" menu at the time you posted this one. The thread title, just like yours, includes the words "ATF" and "Reverses." You started this threat at 8:41am today, the other thread was started at 10:26pm. So it's not like you guys hit the "Post" button at the same time.

So, yeah....IBTL.

I hear there's a crusade going on over here, count me IN.

And the news/topic is most welcome to read a second time anyway. I've been shopping to celebrate.

BTW, the Cubs won the world series.

The Loveable Losers won the Series? I better shop some more.

Yep. Only took 'em 11 years of following the White Sox' lead...
