Blunosr Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:04 PM Share Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:04 PM Not sure if this is the right place to ask. First off great forum. Learning a lot about pistol training and saving some money with online ammunition dealers.I'm in Cook County. Father is in Canada and wants me to have his old Belgium made Browning Challenger 2 pistol 22 cal. I'd love to get it down here. Lots of great memories plinking in the woods with him.Anyone familiar with a transfer of this sort? Thanks in advanceKurt
Yas Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:51 PM Share Posted March 17, 2018 at 01:51 PM You can look into Simpson Ltd as a starting point. From what I understand it will take some drawn out time. https://www.simpsonltd.com
RandyP Posted March 17, 2018 at 02:30 PM Share Posted March 17, 2018 at 02:30 PM I went to that website and read through the requirements, protocols and costs to import a firearm - Holy Guacamole Batman! Best of luck to ya'!
Anonymous One Posted March 17, 2018 at 04:38 PM Share Posted March 17, 2018 at 04:38 PM Contact Mike Bethman of 7 Sigma Arms in Manhattan, IL. He's a licensed importer/exporter. You can reach him at info@7sigmaarms.com. He works out of his home and will be considerably less expensive than Simpson Ltd.
