Monty80 Posted March 23, 2017 at 12:40 AM Share Posted March 23, 2017 at 12:40 AM After a little over 2 years, a friend of mine has successfully appealed his FOID denial and is active as of today. Does anyone know what the average wait time is for the card to actually be delivered after going active? As you might expect, he is very happy and itching to go rent a few guns so that he can make his first purchase.

Marksman_22 Posted March 23, 2017 at 04:19 PM Share Posted March 23, 2017 at 04:19 PM I just applied for an appeal about 3 weeks ago. I seriously hope it does not take 2 years to complete. Can anyone shed any light on this and should I get something in the mail to say that it is being reviewed or something? So far I cant get anyone to pick up the phone to let me know that they got everything they need to start the process.
