So, do we play nice and take “the high road”, or do we start being loud and rowdy like the moms are?

Remember kids. Don't talk about the contents of the bill in public. They will be looking for our responses and any faults in the law. It will only cause it to be stronger.

Prepare for court, I think this will pass with a supermajority.

They are lying and they know it. Whatever they feel like and want to ban they call assault weapon. That's a bogus definition and semi-automatic rifles are not assault weapons. The ATF defines assault weapons as automatic.

It seems like only yesterday when Chicago had mandatory firearm registration. AND a de-facto handgun ban.

I can see the lines of Illinois' gangbangers and thugs, clipbards full of forms, pens in hands - ready, willing and able to comply.

Keyboard warrior time is officially over. People that have never been active outside of safe-space forums need to wake the F up and officially be an activist. Start here with the two senators onboard so far.

They'll just pull a Harvey.   Pay $10.00 an hour for a new level of guard, junior level.   Oh, and no promotions for them.    Illegal aliens permitted to be hired.    Union objection?  That's nice.

So, we have Gun dealer licensing passed (“let’s see your books”), a soon-to-be new head of the ISP for JB to boss around, red flag laws, and now this. Back door registration/confiscation is going to be complete

Maybe JB will give the state a couple billions of his own money.

We are all the militia as stated in the IL constitution (section 1). There’s a reason why they make these felonies (section 5)

Its only a filed bill at this point. Yes it will get out of committee but still need to flood witness slips anyway. Then bombard the Senators and Representatives with calls, letters and emails until they beg it to stop.

Hopefully downstate Dems will not be on board and Northern Republicans arent willing to turn.

Elect corrupt, lard-azz rich lefty who will self-finance to buy office, add water, and, viola -- INSTANT KOMMIEFORNIA!

Everyone who refused to vote for Rauner for whatever stupid, self-righteous reasons can go to heck along with the pudgy marxist they helped elect.

What a surprise, they plan to take the Cook County ordinance Statewide.
