  1. Although I haven't seen it yet, I've been told there is a strange envelope waiting for me at home from the Illinois State Police and it feels as though there is a plastic card inside. Applied: 1/5 No Prints Active: 4/13 Almost in hand: 4/16 Dodged the Lawn Dart in NW Crook County.
  2. The agenda for Streamwood's village board meeting on the 18th was just posted. I'm happy to report that none of this "AWB" nonsesne is on the agenda. Glad my village board isn't being swayed by any of this BS.
  3. To make it easier, just register on the site. Then when you login to file a slip, all your information is already filled in. All you have to do is check two items and click submit. No Captcha stuff involved.
  4. I guess my question is, if a RTC bill is not approved and it defaults to constitutional carry, there would be no law on the books to prevent any type of home rule. What would stop Chicago & Cook County from passing some type of draconian may issue laws?
  5. But if that happened and we ended up with constitutional carry, wouldn't Chicago, Crook County and any other municipality be free to create their own highly restrictive gun laws if they wanted?
  6. Any chance Madigan would file an en banc motion? If so, what chances would she have? Looks like most of the Justices were appointed by Republicans, would that do if anything?
  7. That is EXACTLY right! Indiana verbiage - "License to Carry a Handgun" Yep, I agree. Since we have the upper hand for once, I'd like to see both concealed and open carry. Don't know if I'd ever want to open carry, but it would be nice to have that option from the get go, instead of fighting for it at some point in the future.
  8. Let's hope the legislature drafts a good Right to Carry bill, not just a concealed carry bill. I would hate to be busted just because someone caught a glimpse of my weapon.
