Rights restored, what state to move to?

What states allow felons from Illinois who have had their civil rights restored, own firearms?

From the little I've been able to find, GA, OK, & NC don't allow anyone with any felony convictions to ever own a firearm, TX allows for use in home only (so no hunting), and KY is only rifles if post 1975.

Anyone know about TN, MO, KS, MS AL ?

RE: Kentucky

It appears that KY allows anyone who has their federal rights restored to possess a firearm. Is this open to other interpretation? Since I can get a FOID and have no issues with NICS, there shouldn't be an issue?

Kentucky Statutes 527.040 (1)(B) Been granted relief by the United States Secretary of the Treasury pursuant to the Federal Gun Control Act of 1968, as amended.

How that is to be interpreted is probably best left up to the people in KY, I would write (snail mail certified) letters to the KY attorney general, as well as KY state police and see how they answer and interpret their law. Might even pay to contact a gun rights lawyer in KY and pay them $100 for thier opinion.
