FlatPlaneCrank Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:18 PM Share Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:18 PM Hey guys, recently moved to IL and applied for my FOID card almost 2 weeks ago. Previously I lived in AZ, AR, and MO so I never knew what this whole FOID card thing was. I'm still waiting for a decision. If I remember correctly there should be a decision in 30 days right? What happens if it takes longer than that? This whole process is a little bizarre to me.

InterestedBystander Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:59 PM Share Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:59 PM (edited) If it takes longer, then it takes longer. There is no penalty if they do not meet the 30 day window. Molly B. Posted July 5, 2018 at 03:35 AM Share Posted July 5, 2018 at 03:35 AM The ISP has been doing really well on getting new FOID cards out in the 30 day time line.
