Those are on the handouts, available on the DVD.

Yes, but I have them on my computer now and have a bunch printed out for classes. I just wanted to know where to tell folks to amend their handouts.

Thx MB, you rock.

BTW my desktop would not open the file no matter how I tried, but my laptop that I am sure has more current software updates did, so my advise to anyone have problems opening is to try another piece of tech. I'm a tech dinosaur so if I can figure it out anyone should be able to...

Many instructors received the following email from the ISP today. We are reviewing the new information and will follow with comments.

The 3-hr renewal certificate was included in the email as well as a new certificate to be used beginning July 1, 2018 and also attached is the instructor packet which we are reviewing.

Good Morning Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) Instructor -

Attached, please find a revised copy of the Illinois State Police -
Illinois Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor Information and
Responsibilities packet. Also attached is the new 3-hr Firearm Training
Renewal Certificate as well as a REVISED 16-hr Firearm Training
Certificate. Please replace your current 16 hour training certificates as
soon as possible.

Effective July 1, 2018, classes taught must be documented using the new
certificate. After this date, the Illinois State Police will no longer
accept the old version. The new certificate is now vertical and is
easily distinguishable from the old version. Also included are suggested
documents for your use - a training roster and a student audit check-list.

The Illinois State Police Firearms Services Bureau has been conducting
audits of CCL Instructors throughout the state. We cannot stress enough
the importance of following the requirements in teaching the full 16 hours
or providing for and documenting any verified credited hours (up to 8
hours). The recommended hours are only minimum requirements and does not
excuse Illinois CCL Instructors from teaching the required 16 hours.

Respectfully,

Illinois State Police
Firearms Services Bureau
Concealed Carry Section
