  1. Tick tock, Now February 17, 2014 my app filed Jan 05, 0200am has had no response yet, "pending". Just a time line on this almost completed thread. Here's hoping the first licenses will be issued prior to IGOLD March 5th. That ironically is the day ISP says first may be issued. My last name starts with "A" my app was in pretty early, and I've got my fingers crossed.
  2. Isn't this info compiled by the ISP? They fall into the broad category of state workers but to my minds' eye should be more disciplined, trained and responsible. That's why they got to administer FOID instead of DNR or anyone else. Their lack of apparent intelligence is frightening. So is the unlawful delay in processing applications. They are behind on all new and renewals apps. Given the rush to CCW I see their problem but as I disagree with the premise I have no compassion. Why require a background check on foid then on each gun buy then again on CCW? (Answer: Follow the $).
  3. Revisiting this topic, I take umbrage... Look at it this way, thos of us north of 88 (the slackers)are more energized than those below 88 as we must resist the forces of anti, which are based here. AND let's face it, the seat of power in Illinois is north of 88. To call any group or portion of right minded citizens "slackers" is denigrating and unwelcome in my world of understanding that the Constitution applies to both Republicrats and Demolicans. Ask this, given the population density north of 88, where are the preponderance of non foid owning gun owners?
  4. Why not try and enter population numbers by town or city as we know them? ie: Prospect Hts has 17000 residents, estimate 70% are eligible (age, criminal record etc) and over 1000 are foid holders. 17000/7= 11'900 1'007/11'900=.084. I feel it is imperative to not use general population numbers as they represent the whole and the whole are not eligible. Thanks for the work Coach!
  5. What is the crime rate in Oreana. Pretty low, I'd guess. Mostly things like , UD's !
