I’m pretty doggone sure he will never serve any portion of his sentence. We moved in 2020. My Illinois ccl and FOID card were dutifully sent to Springfield as required by law, sent via return receipt requested. I didn’t trust Illinois. My ccl expired in 2021, received several emails, and a couple of snail mails informing me of the expiration, and how to renew. I sent them a letter, again informing them I was no longer an Illinois resident. Fast forward to 2023, I started receiving notices about my expiring FOID card. This time no letter. Now I’m just waiting for the letter from ISP about registering my firearms, should that stupid PICA be upheld. I can’t wait to tell them to kiss off. They will never update their records, and they will just try to confiscate as many firearms as they can. I’m sure I was counted into the revoked license list, just so they can inflate their numbers, to make it appear as they are doing a good job “keeping guns out of the hands of criminals “! Good luck to the honest, hard working people in Illinois who suffer at the hands of these liberals.

I was just wondering how the meeting with the M and M twins went last night? I’m sure it was carefully orchestrated and censored by these liberal Chicago meatheads. Can’t wait until this PICA gets overturned and shoved down their throats.

Guess what, folks? Mine came today, along with my new foid card!!!!!!!! My timeline was thus: applied with prints 4 August 16, active 9-21-16, in my grubby paws 9-30-16. Congrats to all my Illinois carry friends who received theirs the past couple of days, the old printer in Spfld. must have had a workout printing all our licenses and foid cards. Hopefully the system gets more streamlined for all the folks in review, board review, and wherever else they are keeping them. I will continue to read this forum to try to soak up as much knowledge as I can.

Same for me here. Not only is the mail from Spfld. slow, but my local post office is S-L-O-W-E-R than molasses in January in the Arctic , and that's only if they don't deliver my mail to someone else's residence, which happens a lot. I'm sure I will get it by sometime in November...☹️
