  1. the cook county AWB would apply for mount prospect i believe.
  2. Illinois supreme court has no say over what happens in DC
  3. yes and that the 7ths decision is now the precedent in illinois courts.
  4. It appears right now the NRA and ISRA are mostly licking their wounds from the beating Madigan gave them. In any case, it is not like they can snap their fingers and make AWB go away. They are making gun owners aware of the problem and encouraging citizens to go to the meetings of the local governing bodies and make it clear such things are unwelcome. it most cases, this seems to be working. for the places it is not working, the courts are the only recourse, and that is a very slow process. you win some, you lose some, sometimes it is not real obvious whether you have won or lost. but you keep trying. are you stoned?

  7. there is no such thing as a lawsuit against the second amendment... that would be a person suing the bill of rights..
  8. not suprising since brown is of such good character http://darien-il.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/brown-defends-police-record-amid-resident-concerns
  9. I wonder why July 9th because the council meets every two weeks?
  10. haha so do alot of towns but the second and 4th weeks are considered study sessions and no action can be taken.
  11. most towns either meet the first and third mondays or tuesdays of each month.
  12. actually if you go back and read 183 the transportation of ALL firearms is preempted.
  13. That was part of DC's law and spelled out in Dick Heller's complaint. theres exceptions built in basically the foid holder has to be home for it to be unlocked or an "authorized" user
  14. lol i dont even think Bost would vote for that because of what the left would do with it.
  15. unless you get the legislators to remove the LEGISLATIVE IMMUNITY out of the state constitution you cannot sue them.. you also cant arrest them while they are in session.. SECTION 12. A member shall not be held to answer before any other tribunal for any speech or debate, written or oral, in either house.
