concealed carry waiver of rights

Jawohl mein Herr! You are forgiven, now go and sin no more -
A partisan charge was brought by a partisan and was heard in a partisan court with a partisan agenda with a resulting partisan ruling. Anyone who gives any credence to the idea that Trump was fomenting insurrection and revolution is partisan themselves. This would be the first time in history that an 'insurrection' was done by mostly peaceful protestors (the couple hundred rioters out of tens of thousands of peaceful attendees and participants notwithstanding), where no firearms were present or used, the only fatalities were committed by law enforcement, and no one was actually charged with insurrection (other than Trump). What you had was a large number of angry (rightfully so) citizens following the media and Democrat approved example of the BLM and Antifa model of taking to the streets to make their discontent visible. Unlike the aforementioned groups they did NOT loot, burn, create autonomous zones, or engage in violent activity. There is plenty of video evidence to suggest that the violence was instigated by false-flag operators and some very frustrated but patriotic citizens got caught up in that. Ashley Babbit for example. Regardless, a REAL investigation needs to be done that examines ALL the evidence, to find out what really happened and how high up the conspiracy went. But, we need to look at both sides participation, not just the one that suits your political agenda. Trump was not charged and convicted with insurrection in any court that I'm aware of. Therefore, the insurrection justification for his political persecution (3rd world activity) is moot. I don't understand why the progressives are so fearful of 'MAGA extremists'... Have they not shown they can't even 'insurrect' properly?

Can a sword be legally carried openly in IL?
rmart replied to vito's topic in Illinois Right to Keep and Carry
My understanding is that a telescoping baton is also illegal to carry. I have an old East German telescoping attitude adjuster that fits in the pocket I'd like to carry sometimes. -

I'm curious, is the site still accepting registrations? It would be interesting to see the numbers keep climbing after the deadline date. -

Well, if 6% of the population owns AR style rifles and that includes all people, not just gun owners, then the number must be much higher. Add to that the survey seems to indicate that 6% of the population owns 'AR' style rifles and does not necessarily include AK, HK, and other firearms that would fall under the random definition of what an assault rifle is. -
No, what I'm saying is that you can't make a banned firearm legal by using a smaller magazine. I'll admit that the rules are confusing. You don't have to register the firearm and you can use larger capacity magazines provided you owned them before 1/1/23. You can keep them loaded at home or at the range but you must transport them unloaded.

the wooden panel on the M1 carbine is not a barrel shroud according to the 'helps' on the ISP website. The M1 carbine is identified as not falling under the PICA rules. Using a 10-round magazine would not render a firearm that would otherwise fall under the program exempt. https://isp.illinois.gov/StaticFiles/docs/Home/AssaultWeapons/PICA Identification Guide.pdf Following the rules, my friends Marlin 795 (.22cal semi-auto) is an assault rifle due to the fact that it's 1). semi-auto, 2). has a detachable box magazine, and 3). has a thumbhole stock.

Would that fall under the 'justice is only available to those who have money' clause? -
I've been looking for a decent gun safe for a while. Pretty much ruled out Liberty, Cannon, any of the gun manufacturer branded offerings, AmSec, and anything from a big box store. I don't really know anything about the Cabela's branded safes, who makes them, strength and security, etc. I'm leaning towards the Champion/Superior safes although they're pricier than I would like. Any recommendations for a safe that can't be opened like a tin can? And, any dealers where you can get one cash and carry in time for Christmas?

Huh... who am I to argue with Webster... Although, there does appear to be a disclaimer that suggests that its use is common due to confusion with the word flout. I put its usage in this manner in the same category as the word irregardless. But, back on track with the OT -

Nope, flaunt is to show off, flout is to disregard. Unless you're saying they're showing off the fact that they're disregarding -
