The reason I asked the question is when hunting, you can't if you can't take the game with the handgun. You also need a license to fish and although there are provision for taking some fish with a bow, you can't do it with a handgun. There is an exemption from a UUW if you have a firearm with you while engaged in your sport. Since you need a CCL to carry concealed, I assume it means open carry or unloaded case carry.
