Concealed carry while fishing

I posed this question to one of my CPO friend and he said it was okay. The reason I asked the question is when hunting, you can't if you can't take the game with the handgun. You also need a license to fish and although there are provision for taking some fish with a bow, you can't do it with a handgun.

I'm not freaking out about it, but I do not find anything in the law which prohibits it, so I will carry on.

You have to hunt and fish according to the rules of how you are licensed. There is an exemption from a UUW if you have a firearm with you while engaged in your sport. Since you need a CCL to carry concealed, I assume it means open carry or unloaded case carry. But make your own decision. If you have a CCL and it's not a prohibited place, carry concealed with your CCL.
