Ford said gun violence has increased since the law’s enactment. “We have to examine if our concealed carry law needs some amending,” he said. For Ford, gun violence has hit close to home. Amazing that they are blaming us for the basically flat instances of shootings and murders in Chicago once you discount 2016 as an aberration . Its about sending a message to the community, the fact you allow people to carry guns, weapons of war and death on our streets sends a message that this is OK, that gun violence is OK that having a gun is OK and we need to send a message its not OK /s That is the “logic” we are dealing with though. All CCL are recalled and held by the ISP for return after this experiment.Start next year with NO CCL holders, cards are all in the hands of the ISP.Let’s start around May 1st 2020 and run thru 6 months to September 30th.If there are No murders in Crook County or the City proper then they can amend the CCL all they want and would have proved US to be the problem.If the crimes and shooting, murders, robbery’s and car jacking continue then the CCL holders will be sent back their cards post haste.Upon receiving these cards there will no longer be any no firearms signage, no prohibited places within reason ie schools?Public transportation is a go, ALL of Crook County is a go. Now here’s the funny part of this study, after they lose and we get the cards back.......those committing crimes of any sort with a firearm involved shall be held for trial and a minimum sentence of 10 years applied. NO plea deals, use a firearm, 10 years......... Of course I won’t be around to see this happen as it would be in year 2090 if then.But in the mean time I can dream the impossible dream!
