s0beit Posted June 3, 2014 at 05:35 PM Share Posted June 3, 2014 at 05:35 PM The true surprise would be to see that kind of turnaround with no prints! I may be biased because I'm at 60 days, but given the state has an additional 30 days to do their deed, you'd think 60 would be the mark of a working system, not 30. 30 extra days without prints makes sense the way the law is written. Nanook Posted June 5, 2014 at 10:38 PM Share Posted June 5, 2014 at 10:38 PM I applied with prints on May 4th. Checked today, and it went active with a license # and an expiration date. I checked yesterday, and it was still under review,so today was the day. I don't know when it will actually reach me, but 31 days ain't bad. Jatwood29 Posted June 5, 2014 at 10:50 PM Share Posted June 5, 2014 at 10:50 PM So if LE does a no objection, does it speed up te process?NO, In fact if LE does not object, then they just do nothing. Wheather they object or not, your app MUST sit in the objection bin for 30 days. So, it would venture to say the 32, 33, 34 days are going to be the fastest turn around times you will see until the law is changed.

Nanook Posted June 7, 2014 at 10:31 PM Share Posted June 7, 2014 at 10:31 PM It was in the box today, so it came 2 days after I went active. Sounds like they're figuring it out in most cases. May 4th applied, June 5th Active, June 7th in the mailbox. It beat Utah, which I didn't think would happen.

WCD Posted June 23, 2014 at 11:05 PM Share Posted June 23, 2014 at 11:05 PM Good God...do they open up the whole 30-day objection period again if you're replacing a LOST CCL?

If you lose your Drivers License they don't make you retake the test to get it replaced.

If you lose your Drivers License they don't make you retake the test to get it replaced. Very true. And I thought about that already, especially since I had to replace my DL too. I guess my question was just because the state doesn't mind you driving and never has (you can be an illegal alien and get a license somehow, for God's sake). But us carrying is something they ONLY allowed because they were forced to...figured they might take opportunities to make it as difficult as possible. daviscovertcarry Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:14 AM Share Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:14 AM The fastest that I have seen so far is 28 days. The student was a lady that had been the victim of a brutal attack I which she was stabbed 17 times. She got hers back in 28 days her husband took his class the same time and both got prints. His took 42 days. So my question is do the victims of crime get theirs done faster?
ktrivedi009 Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:28 AM Share Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:28 AM Cops are people too I wouldn't deny a lady who had been attacked if she checked out for being sane and reasonable. I know a few (two) people who have been the victoms of knif attacks one even lost her mother to the same attack. Its so sad to see this kind of ****, give them a chance to fight back. ktrivedi009 Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:38 AM Share Posted June 24, 2014 at 02:38 AM If you are attacked violently you should be able to carry for120 days barring a negative immediate background check by police while your proper CCL is processed.... it would be better if you could just carry w/o a foid or fccl...
