ChrisS Posted February 17, 2018 at 05:31 PM Share Posted February 17, 2018 at 05:31 PM I seem to recall a while back the ISP said anybody who had an account would need to re-register. Or something like that. Is that correct?I was trying to access my account but am not sure if I messed up my login or need to re-register.Thanks
THE KING Posted February 17, 2018 at 05:39 PM Share Posted February 17, 2018 at 05:39 PM If you registered under the original "Digital ID" program back in 2013 / 2014 then yes you need to register again.

Quiet Observer Posted February 18, 2018 at 12:13 AM Share Posted February 18, 2018 at 12:13 AM I think I will wait until it gets closer to my CCL renewal time, in case they decide to change the system again.
Hatchet Posted February 19, 2018 at 07:29 PM Share Posted February 19, 2018 at 07:29 PM I would register now. I had a problem where i got locked out of the system for a few weeks, and unable to apply for CCl, until i was able to get some one on the phone. Since renewals are next year i need to register for the system.
papa Posted February 19, 2018 at 11:03 PM Share Posted February 19, 2018 at 11:03 PM Ok I have a question about this. I keep hearing that a person has to do a new register but I just used my original name and password to access the ccl4il site to check my license and it worked fine. Am I missing something? InterestedBystander Posted February 20, 2018 at 12:11 AM Share Posted February 20, 2018 at 12:11 AM Ok I have a question about this. I keep hearing that a person has to do a new register but I just used my original name and password to access the ccl4il site to check my license and it worked fine. Am I missing something? Are you sure you did not reregister at the time or register after the old Java system was discontinued? If you registered under the original "Digital ID" program back in 2013 / 2014 then yes you need to register again.This...thankfully they abandoned that Java based mess. And it doesn't prevent you from reregistering with the same user ID and password iirc although the password requirements may be somewhat different. As for using ccl4illinois web site, that has been replaced with the ispfsb.com site although they may have left a redirect or pointer with ccl4illinois domain name. I would suggest using the new site name. https://ispfsb.com And I still find it crazy the ISP let the software consultants in KY register the site in the contractor name instead of the ISP who does not have control over it. MagSlap Posted February 20, 2018 at 02:22 AM Share Posted February 20, 2018 at 02:22 AM Well... because of this thread, I went and (re)registered.I havent logged in since getting my CCL back in 2014 My original info didnt seem to work..I registered as 'new'. Everything came up fine. The site had my FOID, FCCL and even my 'last payment' when I originally paid the $150 for the application.
papa Posted February 20, 2018 at 04:22 AM Share Posted February 20, 2018 at 04:22 AM InterestedBystander - I used the link you posted and still got in with old name and password. I remember not being able to register when the java junk was being used. Thanks for jogging my memory and also posting the link.

I really hope ISP has a legal contract that passes on the domain name back to them when the contract expires. But who knows. We may have another change comping.
