  1. I believe Rock Island Auctions is an FFL 10. IL legal baby for the privileged few...
  2. I agree, there are dumb people in every profession. The thing is, some of these FFLs actually do this for a living. Believe it or not! So, they are trying to be extra cautious and not have the State of IL revoke their FDLC. Glock 19, easy sale. Ruger Mini-14 Ranch, well, it has been debated in this form ad-nauseum. Some FFLs will display it and sell it, while others will refuse the business.
  3. I took mine at Maxon's as well, to support Dan. I tell myself the same thing. Just 30 miles east and it will be like entering a new F'en country. Listening to Four Boxes Diner & Gun Talk just p*sses me off. They talk about how clear 2A is and how Louisiana, N. Carolina, and S. Carolina have a serious chance of Constitutional Carry (I think Louisiana just got theirs). While US Illinoisans are fighting to own semi-auto BB Guns. Forget about NFA Items. It just ain't right...
  4. Most jewelry stores have a buzzer to let you in, which means every customer could be denied entry b4 they even enter the jewelry store. Not a typical, open to the public, storefront. How much theft constitutes a felony? He was using force to destroy the display case and whatever he attempted to steal, if he was successful, was it a 10K watch or a 2K necklace. Does that become felony theft. He was willing to break his hand to steal, I would think he would not hesitate to use his hand, leg, or whatever to injure anyone in the jewelry store. We beat ourselves up destroying our own, I am not. I hope he doesn't get charged and uses this as a valuable lesson.
  5. Mark Smith is really good at explaining the inside baseball part. Being a 45yr old pitcher/2B, who can still hobble my way on to the 40 and over baseball field... 🤣
  6. I conduct business in Oak Lawn, they are home-rule. But, all counties charge for your business license. There's another lawsuit. In one of Mark Smith's podcast, he said a plaintiff one a lawsuit on marriage certificate "taxes." The IL Supreme Court is going to eventually here this case. They have to bar Cook County from making up "fees." I doubt they will do that...
  7. I could see Cook County doing that, but I would love to read the new "fee" law. Cook County is not needed at all to help facilitate the sale of firearms or ammunition. So, what fee is needed.
  8. This topic was all over the subreddit on Sunday & Monday. I got 18 down votes on it. Everyone seemed to hate Bost & Bailey 🤷‍♂️
  9. This is my "beef" pure and simple. A high crime happens with "said" firearm. Now a gun trace takes place. Sumdood says he sold the firearm and paid me to store it. Guess what, he didn't follow the law. Even though I am not help responsible, if 5 school children get murdered, everyone is going to be out for blood. Then the anti-gun Progressives are going to use the same excuse for storing the paperwork that they use on us for straw purchases. YOU should have known, YOU should have checked even though its not your responsibility, YOU should have reported it. Now its back to blaming the gun dealer again. Keep the $25, I don't have any additional room to store more paperwork anyway.
