So who was this board member? I will try to contact him and do a little talking about concealed carry in Illinois and mabye help educate him about what is available in other states, non-resident CCW. Also just for general information did you catch who voted NO and Not Voting?

This is so great!!! I remember when I first started talking about this to people all I heard was "it will never pass in this county." I don't feel that I did that much, I just tried to make people aware of the resolution then found out it was on the agenda and now this vote.

There had to have been more people involved than we will ever know to have done this well, and I thank them with all my heart. Jim.

Sctman, you were a huge contributer, make no mistake about that. Lonna Bertelli was a really big part of it too! Lots of other folks worked behind the scenes too.

As for the comment, I believe it was Corky Nightlinger. I am not sure who the "no" was.

Grundy County: passed on November 13, 2007.

GRUNDY county!!! Also shows as passed on the Second Amend Resolution site!

http://www.pro2aresolution.com/id11.html

Hot diggity damn! That is 60 counties, folks.....and Grundy is just outside the metro area, just southwest of Joliet, which for all practical purposes can be thought of as part of the greater Chicago metro area!

With Grundy, Livingston, Ford, and Iroquois, this thing is really starting to squeeeeze on up there toward Cook!

Unanimous!

Board Secretary said they wanted to ..."get on the bandwagon!"

= 66% of our goal of 90, 60% of the counties in the state!

Why would they want to do that? It ain't county business!

Give those cowards on the committee in Champaign heck again, Coach :Crying. =-(: They ought to be feeling really stupid or at the least out of touch with the rest of the area by now! We will get them though! A little oil around the edges might loosen those nuts, eh? :Crying. =-(:

Bond goes yellow!!!

According to the Pro 2A site, it gets voted on 11/20!

Very nice; the noose is really starting to tighten around the two St. Louis border counties.

I showed the map to my dad last night since he does not get on the computer, he could not beleive that we "only" had 60 counties becasue the map was so green. SO he counted how many we have LEFT.

We are doing pretty good when the best way to tell is you only have to count how many are left :hyper:

good work all around everyone :)
