I know there are a couple of conversion kits for Glocks, but which is the most reliable? I would like to be able to not have to worry about how much $$ I'm sending down range when I go...

One of my bigger regrets was tossing in my Advantage Arms G17 conversion when I sold the gun.

It was close to perfect. It was possible, believe it or not, to limp-wrist it, especially with economy ammunition, but it only happened to my wife and I couldn't get it to do it on my own, nor could anyone else.

Incidentally, GAT Guns in Dundee had a pretty good-sized pile of them in stock the other day.

Sadly, only the Glock ones and not the 1911 ones.

Advantage Arms. I have one for G19 and the only problem with it is I need a LOT more magazines.

Great way to learn trigger control, breathing and shot placement. I have the older version which I don't think is made anymore. The latest addition is the LE model.

Advantage Arms!!!. Whatever you do, stay away from the Cenier conversion kit. It is unreliable and the company will not stand behind their product.

Thanks for all the advice. It is nice to hear consistency!

I will look for an Advantage Arms edition.

Bud, what is the "LE" version...is it an upgraded version compared to yours, or did they cheapen something up?

I've got an AA 3rd gen G26 model that is in the classifieds, but I haven't updated it in months. Just an FYI.

GAT still has them available. However, they are marked NOT for GEN 4. $349

They just rounded the slide and included Glock sights. Makes it more identical to the Glock slide.

They are all over eBay which is where I got mine. They are not a "firearm" so they can be shipped directly to your home
