BobS Posted March 2, 2012 at 04:18 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 04:18 PM I wish our representatives would see these polls/letter/phone call/e-mails and understand what the citizens want or do not want.
boomersand Posted March 2, 2012 at 04:26 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 04:26 PM I emailed my rep Will Davis again with the link stating that this tax ISN'T what the people want.

vezpa Posted March 2, 2012 at 05:38 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 05:38 PM The poll doesn't make sense to me. See I go 6 blocks and cross the border to Indiana to buy my ammo, not Missouri.
skottieusa Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:13 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:13 PM Understood, but this paper is out of Belleville, 1/2 hr from St. Louis.
Dave D Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:51 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:51 PM Understood, but this paper is out of Belleville, 1/2 hr from St. Louis. Everything is cheaper there, worth the 1/2 hour drive. And save 30 cents a gallon on fuel there.
Patriots & Tyrants Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:52 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 06:52 PM Over 2300 now and 94% against the tax; I just hope the vote in the house(if it even gets that far) goes this well for us. If you want to raise money for trauma centers in Chicago why not tack on a $200.00 court fee to any gang member who is convicted of a crime or something? Then the people causing the problem are the ones actually getting punished.
snooter Posted March 2, 2012 at 07:52 PM Posted March 2, 2012 at 07:52 PM I will be buying all my ammo across the river. with no jobs is this state is this all those buffons in springfield have to argue about..i guess so..my missouri purchases as of now..booze, skoal, hookers, gas and soon to add ammo..well i dont drink and have no need for hookers, but i see a lot of illinois plates loading up on booze and such across the river ps: belleville is in st clair county (costello country) and one of what 4 counties to vote for our guv in the last election i think..even madison i think went bush last election..lotta money in glen carbon/edwardsville anymore so i guess they are getting tired of the high taxes.
